Alabama Slammer
South Beaver Township songwriter-guitarist Ron Pullman journeyed to Birmingham, Ala., a few weeks ago to record Pullman’s music with Jimmy Carter of the Grammy Award-winning gospel group The Blind Boys of Alabama.
They recorded “Crossing The Threshold” (Ron Pullman Music) for a Carter solo project, with Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild chief recording engineer Jay Dudt.
Pullman, who’s building a home recording studio on his Beaver County property, previously has collaborated with Lenny Zakatek, singer for the Alan Parsons Project, and Denny Laine, guitarist for Paul McCartney’s Wings.
